Sunrose Studios isn’t your traditional gallery. Furthermore, it is not just a traditional studio, workshop, or event space. Instead, Sunrose Studios is all of those things in one.

The creator, Michael Irish, describes their aesthetic and purpose as “visionary fusion.” He is obsessed with chefs. Irish explains: “World-class chefs are in the business of delighting people with elegance and power… This is the taste we are bringing forward, a new kind of SoCal hospitality.”

Defining Visionary Fusion

For Irish, “visionary fusion” implies the fusion of elements within vision. This includes realism and abstraction, Renaissance technique and contemporary concepts.

He believes this fusion is not arbitrary. Rather, it is principled on the fact that we can make anything. Ultimately, they make things from a place of concentrated effortlessness.

The mission of Sunrose Studios is beguilingly simple. They aim to provide the 21st-century lifestyle with 21st-century artistry.

A Unique Origin Story

Irish himself had unique beginnings. Originally, he worked in finance and Wall Street. However, finding that work unfulfilling, he took a step toward his ambition.

He traveled to Vienna, Austria. There, he studied with the Master Painters at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art. After studying, he moved his family to Southern California to create Sunrose Studios.

Currently, Sunrose is still an “emerging company.” They are developing their first big shows to introduce themselves to the Los Angeles art community. Irish believes his events will create a “beautiful fusion for those who want to be a part of a fresh cultural moment.”

Community and Digital Innovation

Beyond the gallery, Irish takes his mission seriously as a vehicle for community. He has been called to the streets of Los Angeles. There, he conducts art workshops with homeless teens. Recently, he completed a mural at an elementary school in Compton.

He views Sunrose as an open invitation for social and civic opportunities. Long-term, this means preparing a setting for art and equine therapy.

Furthermore, Irish views Sunrose Studios as a revolutionary opportunity in the digital space. He plans to use digital tools to create in-depth art show experiences. This includes being a forerunner in virtual exhibitions.

Ultimately, Sunrose is a vehicle for punctuating the creative journey. Whether in a private salon or a digital museum, they are taking art forward beautifully.
