AQUA Art Miami, a sister fair of Art Miami, will return for its 13th edition on December 6th with a VIP Preview before opening its doors to the public from December 7th – 10th at the AQUA Hotel in Miami.
The unique fair that is known for its ‘relaxed-yet-energetic’ vibe will showcase 52 international exhibitors, who will present works from emerging and mid-career artists in the intimate hotel rooms that open onto the picturesque courtyard.
To complement the international exhibitors, AQUA Art Miami shines a light on fashion and style with a selection of curated special projects including:
- AQUA Lobby Pop Up presented by Cindy Lisica Gallery(Houston)
The pop up shop will display a curated selection of original artwork, photography, limited edition prints, books and collectible art objects.
- BE ART by Laura Kimpton presented by HG Contemporary (New York)
Guests will be greeted by Burning Man breakout star, Laura Kimpton’s 16-foot tall female monkey sculpture wearing a gold-plated necklace that proudly exclaims BE ART.
- Live Tattoo Art by Thea Duskin presented by Ghostprint Gallery (Richmond)
Duskin, who is known for her exquisite watercolor tattoos, will provide live performances throughout the fair at select times. She will also offer fairgoers the opportunity to get original one-off, single-session tattoos for $500.
- “Which Comes First, the Art or the Fashion?” presented by Morphew (New York)
Morphew presents an art gallery / shop offering avant-garde luxury vintage fashion, an installation dedicated to Keith Haring, and a collaboration with Kara Ross and Unleashed, which will celebrate a collective of artisan women from Bareilly, India who are experts in the art of hand beading.
