Art Silicon Valley/San Francisco (Art SV/SF) is Art Miami’s International Contemporary and Modern Art Fair on the West Coast, centrally located between Silicon Valley and San Francisco at the San Mateo Event Center. The second edition will run October 8-11, 2015 and will present important investment quality art for acquisition from the 20th and 21st centuries in collaboration with some of the world’s most respected galleries and art institutions.
The VIP Preview on October 8th, sponsored by Ruinart Champagne, will benefit ScholarMatch. Founded by author Dave Eggers, ScholarMatch began as a simple crowdfunding platform and grew into a full service college-access organization. Their mission is to make college possible for underserved youth by matching students with donors, resources, colleges, and professional networks. ScholarMatch helps more than 500 students per year realize their college dreams.
The fair will also offer innovative cultural programming including on-site installation projects, interactive art, artist talks, and special exhibitions. We welcome these curatorial efforts and opportunities to encounter new art and ideas as an added dimension to the weekend’s events. Details online.
