Scheduled during the week of Asian art sales in New York, the September 15 auction presents the arts of China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia dating from the Neolithic Period through the 20th century. The sale comprises over 350 lots of fine porcelains, jades, bronzes, screens, pottery, scholar’s objects, snuff bottles, furniture and paintings. Highlights include Chinese jades from the Collection of Jerome M. and Rhoda S. Fischer and El Morocco: The John Perona Collection.
