The April 29 sale offers a fine selection of prints from the 17th through the 20th centuries. From a private collection is a group of rare color lithograph posters, including works by Alphonse Mucha, Theophile Alexandre Steinlen and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
European prints feature examples by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Joan Miro.
Highlighting the American prints are works by James Abbott McNeill Whistler, George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton and Milton Avery.
Contemporary prints feature examples by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, Jennifer Bartlett and Jeff Koons.
