Tequesta, Fla. (Sept. 20, 2013) — The Lighthouse ArtCenter presents an exhibition Artists’ Guild “Midtown Bash” of work created by its members. The art will include the finest work of local professional artists. Photographs, sculpture, ceramics, paintings and drawings will be displayed in this gallery setting at the upscale Mainstreet at Midtown plaza on PGA Boulevard.
The Opening Reception will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27. The public is invited for this free event to meet the artists, and to enjoy a preview of this eclectic exhibit. The Lighthouse ArtCenter Guild artists will be on hand to discuss their art, and Lighthouse ArtCenter Museum staff will host the evening. The gallery also will be open 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 24 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 24, or by appointment.
The 19 Artists’ Guild members featured in this exhibition are Ilene Adams, Gerri Aurre, Jean Chase, John Cooksey, Katie Deits, Judy Flescher, Eduardo Gomez, Esther Gordon, Diane Hutchinson, Chris Kalmbach, Susan Kennedy, Rick Lewis, Deborah Neuhaus, Quince Quaintance, Manon Sander, Joetta Schneider, Tom Tomlinson, Robin Vogel and Tanya Witzel.
The Lighthouse ArtCenter, a member-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides visual and performing arts for the community through unique collections, engaging exhibitions and cultural programs, a dynamic School of Art and diverse outreach activities. Programs are funded in part by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council and the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
