The annual Winter Antiques Show, the highlight of New York City’s Winter season, is featuring 73 renowned experts in fine and decorative arts from around the world. For the first time ever, the Winter Show is including contemporary material along with antiques. The fully vetted Show was established in 1955 by East Side House Settlement, a social services institution located in the South Bronx. The Presenting Sponsor is Chubb Personal Insurance.

The 2016 loan exhibition, “Legacy for the Future: The Wadsworth
Atheneum Museum of Art,” pays tribute to the diversity of the
Museum’s collection, with highlights ranging from antiquities and
Baroque masterworks to Hudson River School landscapes and
contemporary sculpture. The 2016 Loan Exhibition sponsor is
Bessemer Trust.

The 2016 Winter Show is on from January 22-31, 2016 from
12 p.m.-8 p.m. daily except Sundays and Thursday, 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
The Young Collectors Night will be held on January 28, 2016.

The show is at the Park Avenue Armory, 67th Street and Park Avenue in New York City. Daily admission to the Show is $25, which includes a copy of the Show’s award-winning catalogue. A series of lectures by noted experts accompanies the show. For more information, visit www.WinterAntiquesShow.com.

(All net proceeds from the Show benefit East Side House Settlement, which provides access to quality education and technology training as gateways out of poverty to students in the South Bronx, one of the nation’s poorest congressional districts. Celebrating its 125th
Anniversary in 2016, East Side House continues to help motivated
students graduate from high school, enroll in college, and build the
skills necessary to secure good jobs.)
