The 2015 METRO Curates opens for its five-day run with an Opening Night Preview on Wednesday evening January 21, at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street in Chelsea. The fair, an edgy, forward-looking component of New York’s exciting Antiques Week, continues through Sunday, January 25.

The Metro Show NYC show will display the latest developments and products relating to sculptural objects and functional art. This show provides a display of a diverse range of goods and products. The Metro Show NYC event stresses design, with an impressive roster of cutting-edge dealers and designers. The show will spotlight paintings, furniture, drawings, prints, photographs and folk art. Participating dealers include the Adelson Gallery, the Hill Gallery, Karthryn Markel Fine Arts, the American Primitive Gallery, M. Finkel & Daughter, and the Ricco-Maresca Gallery.

On Thursday, January 22, there will be a design-forward panel discussion, “Past to Present: Design Beyond Boundaries.” Moderated by expert Wendy Goodman the panel features three of the hottest go-to authorities on design today, Antonino Buzzetta, Sara Gilbane and Patrick Mele.
